This really sucks. It's such a devastating disease. I hope she pulls through OK.

I GUARANTEE you this is going to be somehow connected to medicines and procedures which enabled her late-in-life pregnancies. Look out, pharmeceutical companies!

If that is the case, my prayers will be said for her today that she receives treatment and will recover swiftly so she may live to see her children grow. God bless her.

Very sad. Prayers for her. I've read that being overweight is a big risk factor for breast cancer; this is a warning for all of us women to exercise and try to keep our weight down.
To: crushelits
Well, if true, I wish her all the best.
I think it's relevant to point out if we had lost, and a few days later it was announced that Lynne Cheney had breast cancer, the monsters over at DU would be happily piling on the "salt in the wound" bandwagon, and already dancing on her grave.
You know it, I know it, they know it, and yet, still, we're somehow the "evil" party, the "party of death".
To: crushelits
What is the source for this? Were there any more details as to her prognosis?
I wonder if she knew this during the campaigning. That would have been so hard. I pray she's alright.
