Let me see if I understand this.
65% of Jews support Democrats.
The Demcorat choice for President was John Kerry.
John Kerry was endorsed by every Jew hating nation on earth.
John Kerry wanted to negotiate with terrorists.
John Kerry wanted to fight a more sensitive war on terror.
Terrorists want to kill all Jews.
????????????????????
What am I missing in the Jewish support for the Democrats?
It should be pretty obvious from the Florida vote that more Jews supported Bush. Here is why:
1)Bush pulled in more votes than Martinez. What this means to me is that the Jewish demorats voted for Bush and then went back to the norm and voted for Castor.
We're going to slowly continue to do better and better as the years go by, it's pretty much certainty. The retiree crowd that still worships the memory of the Roosevelts and hasn't moved forward in their thinking in 60 years is dying, and the younger Jewish population is much more in touch with today's reality.
"In the three states with the largest Jewish populations -- New York, California, and Florida -- American Jews supported Democrats by even wider margins. CNN reports that in Florida, Jews voted for Kerry by an 80-20 margin; in New York, the margin was 80-18; and in California, the margin was 79-19."

The bottom line? George Bush owes the Jewish community bupkis.
These are some of the BEST Republicans
FWIW-
My 89-year-old grandfather - Jewish, in Florida to boot - voted GOP for President for the first time in his life.
If ALL Jewish voters had voted for Pres. Bush, no state except MAYBE Wisconsin would have flipped from Kerry to Bush. Evangelical Christians provided the Bush margin this time (four million who didn't vote in 2000 by some reports), and I've seen one claim of up to 25 million unregistered evangelicals! Energy should be put where the votes are.
but surely.
Yep, I'll take the Jewish vote.

35%? Hmmm. And in Florida and Ohio how many Jews would that translate into?
Should have been at least 32%
I talked my Jewish friend into voting Republican for the first time in his life.
Reagan got 39 per cent in 1980, and 31 per cent in 1984.Jewish vote remains traditionally DemocratAccording to data published by the National Jewish Democratic Council, the average Jewish support of a Republican candidate since 1972 stands at 27.4%. On the other hand, the Jewish Republican Coalition announced yesterday that more and more Jews vote Republican. According to their data, collected since 1992, the average number of Jews who voted for a Republican in the presidential elections has been rising steadily: 11% in 1992, followed by 16% in 96, 19% in 2000 and in the 2004 elections, 25% of Jews voted for President Bush.
