This is NOT a false story. check the link!

Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat's health has deteriorated sharply at the Paris hospital where he is being treated for an unexplained illness. He is in intensive care, but aides have issued conflicting reports about whether he has fallen into a coma.

An emergency meeting of top Palestinian officials is due to take place in the West Bank to discuss the crisis.

Mr Arafat, 75, was flown to a military hospital in Paris last week. He has led the Palestinians since the 1960s.

At his battered Palestinian Authority headquarters in the West Bank city of Ramallah, officials stated publicly that Mr Arafat was "absolutely not in a coma".

But sources close to his entourage in Paris say he has become unconscious three times in the last two days, and he did not regain consciousness the third time.

Tests have shown that he has a low count of blood platelets, which are needed for clotting, but doctors are unsure of what is causing the condition.

At his battered Palestinian Authority headquarters

Like this description doesn't reveal the author's sentiments toward this murderous regime, eh?

the "Author" being BBC, could have used a more truthfull expression, like neglected, run down, etc. instead, they make it sound like the Israeli's have hammered it, which they haven't. it's the only building left untouched.

"doctors are unsure of what is causing the condition."

He should have gone to a nice Jewish Doctor.

This tears me up inside. One part of me wants to see him JUST DIE, the other wants him to linger in endless pain and suffering.

He has my prayers. I bet he'd be better off with American health care though.

After AraFAT starts his dirt nap, there is a slim chance that Palestinians could find responsible leaders...wipe out the terrorists among them...agree to make nice with Israel...eventually develop their own state... a very slim chance.

I pointed out this irony during the last Arafat deathwatch - some of the best doctors in the world were a 5-minute helicopter flight away from his Ramallah tomb, but because of bigotry and PR backlash he couldn't use them. Truly you reap what you sow.

This, friends, is the definition of the word 'opportunity'.

Joseph Farah over at WND thinks that he has AIDS. Farah wrote about a year ago over the claims that the former head of the Romanian secret service hosted Arafat a number of times in his capacity as a front for the KGB, who had set up this Egyptian as head of a radical Islamic group dedicated to the overthrow of Israel.

Arafat, in this claim, is gay and is a pedophile to boot. The Romanians apparently procured for Arafat and did some secret filming of the resulting fun.

Platelets, my ass. Or, his ass.

Gosh he was dying...then the Paris doctors said he's doing much better and now he's dying again... That's what you get with nationalized healthcare. :)

Not likely, about as likely as me winning super ball.

The PA is another name for Hamas as far as I'm concerned.
Maybe sheeple can be fooled as to what is going on over there, but I'm not. It's all the same thing, Islamic Jew hate, and the Hamas Charter just repeats what's in the Koran and the Hadith.
they only way there will ever be peace there is if the UN and Europe quit sending money to those genocidal Jihadists, and send them all back where they came from.
The whole thing is a giant lie. You can't build peace if the foundation for the structure is a lie.

Oh, and the reason that he went to Paris was in the hope that they could keep the secret from the Arabs who only condone homosexuality in the teen years and who expect that grown men (with certain exceptions) give those ways up.

If he had gone to reasonably good medical treatment in the Arab or Islamic world, the word - from Arab or Islamic sources - would have gone out. The heathen French, who can trust them?
