We didn't come this far to compromise with these A@#holes! They are defeated. You do not let your opponent up off the ground, you step on his throat.
Then you shoot them in the head.
The Door. We have a lot to uncover and clean up. I would like to see Bush start by cleaning house of all the Clinton Political appointees, in every department. If he can't fire them, put them way back on some back burner where we can keep an eye on them, but where they can do no harm.
The State Dept. Needs a strong hand. Mr. Powell is a very good and honest man. To Trusting and not in the same league as the underhanded, backstabbing of the French, German, Belgium and Russians. I would like to see Newt Gingrich in this position. A few years ago he had written or had done some study of the State Dept and strongly suggested that a house cleaning be done. I believe he would be the man to do it.
The CIA is embattled now with their house needed to be cleaned of the Socialist turncoats.
These people profess their love for this country, but want to take us into Socialism, WE DO NOT WANT SOCIALISM !! Get them out!
The Courts need cleaned of the same Socialist Judges, not interpresting laws as they were ment.
Take back our airways, they are nothing more than mouthpieces for the Socialist left. Do away with NPR. The stench of Socialism is everywhere.
Will he scrap the "new tone"?
I want to hear Bush on the offensive, like Reagan was with the media.
Jim,
Thanks again for FR. There is blood in the water, we should go in for the kill. We have all the Dems on the run, and we have real conservatives like Alan Keyes that could fill prime positions in our government. We have to keep our momentum going. This site is driving nails in the rat's coffins.
Ben is right. You do not invite snakes back into your chicken coop once you have cleaned up the floor with them.
Agreed ... we didn't elect him to appease *anybody*.
I posted this on the State "My Location" page, but I repeat:
Fox 4 News in Dallas Texas was discussing the Dallas area vote a minute ago, and I think I saw the Dem's clarion call for the next little bit: "The country is divided and the President needs to reach out to the other side."
Well, first off, we aren't necessarily divided:
1. We had 2 (real) choices, everybody chose one or the other -- duh!
2. A look at the votes in the States with the Defence of Marriage ballot issues shows that many of those who voted for the DOM issue also voted for Kerry - not the President. So, the Country has "common ground." More duh!
Nevertheless, Kirk, Kerry, and the rest of the whiners need to face the fact: we won, we won big!! We heard them, we exercised our personal "choice" to ignore them, and *our* President and Legistors are in charge!!
We could step on their necks instead of their faces, that's compromise!
I totally agree. We and he don't need to lean left to make them feel better. After all they have said and done it is them that need to do some a## kissing. They need to know we mean business.
I have to say that every post on this thread is, well, silly. And if we took the advice of the slash and burners on this thread, the hubris, the pure vindictive nature of what is posted, we deserve to lose the next election and we will.
You folks have forgotten this was a close election. 51 percent of the electorate is not a mandate to act like neanderthals.
newbie, you sound like a young fascist in training.
Bush and Frist and Co. set a marvelous tone of being class acts rather than the trash acts that the dims have been. Turning into obnoxious bullies like the dims have been for years would be a mistake IMO.
Someone had to say that!!
Totally agree..Bush was , in my opinion , too easy with some issues and personalities. He need to be on the offensive and really speak out against many who slammed him for months , especially the MEDIA..
we agree and I suspect the usual agitators on this thread.
