I am also so grateful that Kerry did the right thing and conceded. For a while it appeared we were going to be taken through hell again, but thankfully, someone, perhaps not Kerry himself, had better sense.

(Congratulations President Bush! Four more years!)

I think it was Kerry, it was his call. But I don't think he's stupid, and I think he did the math, and saw it was a NO WIN situation.
And good for Bush for hanging fire until Kerry conceded.
The country needed this, just an election, a result; enough controversy to keep the talking heads jaw-jawing, but no bone thrown to our enemies.

(Don't let Australia down: Re-elect President Bush! (YAY! W WON!))

According to the NY Post he made the decision and Breck Girl was begging him not to (along with others)... so for this we have to all be grateful that for all his failings as a candidate, in the end, he was a much better man than Al Gore...
I have no doubt this is something he's been dreaming about most his life and we all know how hard it is to give up on a life-long dream.
NOW -- someone tell me we won't have to hear from Al Bore any more and his I was cheated junk!!!
