"There will be only one way to read the election results if Bush wins: The world will see his victory as an affirmation by the American people of his disastrous preemptive war policy, which led the United States to invade Iraq without provocation."

I guess she missed the hand delivered invitation on 9/11.

For women and minorities who support abortion rights and affirmative action, there is the scary prospect that the candidate who wins Tuesday may be able to appoint three, perhaps even four Supreme Court justices.

Do I hear an Amen?

I prayed that Ronald Reagan would not die during Clinton's Administration, and have begun praying that Helen does during Bush's.

Is that wrong?

Helen,

I know you don't believe in God, so please bear with me. The reason God limited women's childbearing years is to prevent senile people like you from passing on genetic defects you have acquired later in life.

Lunk

P.S. I think Walter Crankhype is looking for a girlfriend. He is almost as senile and as fugly as you. Since you both share the same sour, dour, conspiratorial outlook on life, why not look him up. I believe his address is:

Walter Cronkheit
7 Alzheimers Lane
Greenwich, Connecticut

The U.S. attack on Iraq is a clear violation of international law and has made us helpless to condemn others for similar acts.

So, I guess the UN mandates that were ignored by Sadamm were just hot air?

Helen, baby, if we want to talk about dark times we'll talk about the cracks and cravasses so prevalent throughout your body. None of us wants to go there, though it makes more sense than your columns

Helen Thomas and Eleanor Clift are probably two of the least talented, openly stupid, and unbalanced people in the MSM today. Helen cannot comprehend the utter imbecility of her comments. It is simply stunning. On the other hand I an heartened by the reaction of the Left. The kooks are now the mainstream, they are unable to comprehend the depth of the hole they dug for themselves. That should keep conservatives in power for a long time.

A few wars in the 20th century that can be labeled both as America coming to the aid of theur Allies AND pre-emptive (fought to prevent attacks on Americans):

WWI
WWII (European theater only)
Korean War
Viet Nam War
Persian Gulf War

The road could lead to more mindless wars abroad

AS opposed to the intelligent wars of Bill Clinton, such as bombing and killing thousands of Serbs.

Yeah, that was a good war. (/sarcasm)
