"Then tragedy struck. For the first time since 1812, a foreign enemy attacked Americans in their homeland. "

Scuze me?
Peral Harbor was our Homeland. So was Dutch Harbor.

"Only Bush can protect the US from the threat of terror"

Sorry, noone can make that claim except God. Bush may be our best bet, that I can accept, but these people mean business and will stop at nothing and use any means.

That's what I was thinking but I waited until somebody else replied before I said WHAT???

Thier editors are all passed out from sitting up to see the results and somebody sneaked in over their prostrate bodies is all I can conclude.

One can never understand the British press it seems. The seem to detect which way the wind blows rather than just blowing all the time.

Evidently, like the NYT, the Guardian will occasionally publish a token conservative column.

You took the words right out of my puter.

I think Bush would agree... NO power is given to man except
that which is given by our heavenly father.

Praise God not Bush. (I like him too)

The fact this article appeared in the Guardian indicates to me that the Guardian is afraid Bush may want to "liberate" the UK after Iraq. Keep shaking in fear girly men!

best summary of Bush's first term I have heard, with the possible exception of Guiliani's take on things.
