What you write makes sense - I wonder if any study has been done pertaining to I.Q. and/or profession and how it correlates with one's choice of political parties?
Wow...Stephen J. Gould was right! Whenever the economic or political climate is right "reification" will once again rear it's ugly head.
We shouldn't make a priori assumptions here by using soft science. I'm at work so I can't really comment.
