NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Stocks rose Wednesday, lifted by news that President Bush won a second term in office.
The Dow Jones industrial average (up 101.32 to 10,137.05, Charts) and the Nasdaq composite (up 19.54 to 2,004.33, Charts) both added 1 percent. The broader Standard & Poor's 500 (up 12.64 to 1,143.20, Charts) index added 1.1 percent.

Republicans need to make the people in general understand why Bush and Republican policies of tax cuts and less government regulations is good for everyone.
I knew it would be like this. The RATS will just try and spin it so that people don't see how much of this Bush is responsible for.

The market was skittish, because they were worried about a Kerry win. When the exit polls came out, indicating a Kerry win, the market nosedived, and today it soared.
