"how long can one gal coast one the strength of one album" (Tapestry)..."

Coast? One album? Try hundreds of songs recorded by everyone from Tammy Wynette to the Beatles with folks in the middle like The Drifters, Jan and Dean, Quincy, Steve Lawrence, Aretha Franklin...the list is long.

I've always found the habit of tearing someone's talent or career down because of what he/she thinks to be childish and accomplishing of nothing. She's got her head up her ass politically but you've got to look long and hard to find someone more successful in America.

sorry but I just don't find her music all that stimulating.. just because her music friends record her music doesn't mean I have to like her musically..

They don't seem to mind tearing down our beliefs and values. In fact, many of them relish denigrating conservatives. Personally I find it very, very difficult to enjoy the "talents" of anyone who is outspoken against my beliefs. It's just me; but, I'm not going to give them any of my money to help them further their warped, immoral values.

What you said. One of the best songwriters of popular music EVER. I have nice people in my family that think just like her. As Hillary would say, it just shows we have a lot of work to do.
