Before you breathe too easily, we could be faced with this again in 4 years. We need to start thinking now about what we will need to do to prevent that.

It won't be the same in 3 years. This is a pivotal time.

In 4 years the terrorism issue is likely to have had a very significant dent in it. Iraq will be well on it's way to democracy. Iran will fall from it's own weight.

Participatory democracy in the middle east will change everything. I'd look for more governments to change. Given the example of self regulated prosperity the governments that don't fall will have to liberalize.

The judgeship issue will radically change the liberal agenda. With conservative appointments to the Supreme Court, especially if they are youngish, it will have an impact for the next 20 years.

Plus there are some other considerations. The MSM has been defanged. They will have to change or they will wither out of irrelevance. The internet is new media.

I think it is likely that the Democrat party as we know it will crumble as well. Democrats are a coalition party. They held their coalition by giving handouts. They don't have the power to give the handouts now. No seat at the table. No holding power for the blacks, the greens or the feminists.

I wouldn't be surprised if each of these groups splintered off and became small parties all on their own the way the Libertarians have.

It's a new day out there.

It is fairly likely that the UN could be defanged.

With partial privitazation of Social Security, increased home ownership, tort reform, overhauling the IRS, and clear improvement from education reform,
Hillary if appointed president won't be able to do nearly as much damage.
