"we would do well to thank the Lord that we have escaped the repercussions of a Kerry Presidency."This is the most important message of the 2004 election!

Thanks, Tonk!
TR, your analysis is spot on!
I agree. America, as we know it, would not have survived four years of Kerry.

I ran it through spell check and had one of my buddies at work proof read it. Neither of us caught it.
It was tough writing when I'm cubicle bound.

I think they're all going to vanish like failed candidates always do. Some eventually come back, some don't.
Kerry's making his farewell speech today, talking about how he's going to fight for natl health care and so on and I'm saying who is he kidding? He's barely done a lick of real work in his life.
It's thrilling to be the winner. As he stood on the stage at the Reagan bldg listening to the roar of his people I bet he was thinking about how he got elected with more popular votes than any other candidate in history. He looked as proud as he should be.

"It is fairly likely that the UN could be defanged." They had been defanged by congress, by simply not sending them any checks, until GWB opened the wallet.

Great essay. I do believe we dodged a bullet. The stakes are much, much higher than when Carter took office.
I am immensely relieved.
(I did take a moment away from Hugh Hewitt's show to listen to - ACK! - Randi Rhodes interview Greg "Reynolds Wrap" Palast on Err America this afternoon. I felt icky afterwards.)

Is it just me, or did Terayza appear to be deeply stoned during the concession today?

" Imagine preaching against homosexual behavior, abortion, promiscuity being declared hate crimes and every real Christian Church loosing its tax-exempt status..." Are we talking Canada II?

Oregacin is a natural antibiotic that kills every known pathogenic bacteria without the danger of breeding resistant strains. It's made from carvacrol, which is the essential oil of oregano
There is, of course a distinct danger of terminal pizza-breath!

did Terayza appear to be deeply stoned during the concession today? Let's see, a cranky b!tch with enough money to wipe out most country's national debts, a woman who appears to do virtually nothing, openly drinks beer while campaigning against Laura....Terayza could afford any intoxicant on earth. Yeah, it pretty much guarantees that she was definitely zoned on something!
