My Mom's mind was sharp as a tack, right to the end. A couple of days after Gore FINALLY gave up, Mom came out of a very long and dangerous surgery. When she came to, the doctors asked her who was the president. She grinned and her pale blue eyes sparkled when she said to them, "George Bush, the SON, not the father." I was never more proud of her.

Daddy will be 85 in January....Still practicing law....Four years ago on Wednesday after the election he told the local judge (a friend), "this thing is going to the SCOTUS." Gave him the section and paragraph it would be decided on and the correct votes by each justice......After it was over, the judge approach him and told him if he were 20 years younger he'd nominate him for a Federal appointment...Dad replied if he were ten years younger he'd take it......His mind is still sharp as ever!

I was shocked to hear the First Lady is 58! She looks to be much younger than that. I would have guessed 44 to 46 at the very most. GW is a lucky man. Yes, he is. Laura's inner beauty is so overwhelming that her outer beauty is also increased. That's the kind of woman with whom to grow old... just like diamonds, difficult to find.

I volunteer to jump out of the cake.
I wonder what her secret service codename is? Hot Babe 1?

Leaving this campaign with a prayer blah blah blah......and on the way out John, you can now throw away all those anti-religious, superstitious symbols you carry arouond with you. Throw that stinky "lucky" yellow barn jacket away John! Your Bruce Springsteen guitar pick, your lucky Viet Nam hat, and your "good luck" Ohio buckeye too!
