My history books said the south lost the Civil War, but apparently that was just a battle. The south lost the battle of 1861-1865, but now are winning the war.

hye I agree I live in CA and I saw the map of the counties Kerry did not win alot of the state he just won were there was a large amount of people I live in the Bay Area they are very liberal I know I worked hard on getting my co-workers to vote bush and I think by the congrat's I got at work and the hugs I might have changed a few minds Like Hannity always says on his show oh goodness I cant think of what he said know. oh well CA has spoken check the map to bad and Arnold said it prefectly LIBERALS ARE LOSERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!OF COURSE HE KIND OF BACK TRACKED ON THAT

As far as politics are concerned, there is virtually NOTHING homogenious between myself and the state of Massachusetts or virtually all of New England for that matter. Same goes for the coastal counties of the Left Coast and Tuesday's election only proved this further. But that's fine by me because I wouldn't want to be like any of those regions anyway. They're all overrun with obnoxious socialists, fairies, envirowackos, perverts, deviants, christophobes, tax hikers, effete Heinz-Kerry style snobs, hollywood nutjobs, and mohammedan sympathizers.

Today some libs observe the coasts are the United States Of Canada. Everything else is Jesusland. I think they're right.

The first half referred to the Homestead Act, aka the welfare of the 19th century. The second half referred to the massive tax hike the GOP was busy trying to cram through the Congress that year. So forgive me if I don't look to favorably upon the GOP's policy agenda back then.

I have plenty of conservative friends who, for whatever unknown reason, like to live in left wing urban dumpsters like San Francisco where they are constantly surrounded by freaks and nutjobs. That's not my kind of thing though and I'd just as soon cede those places to Canada or something.

This victory was obviously not the South defeating the North. It was the United defeating the Divided. The populations of the red states are growing. It was a victory of the Living (those not aborted) over the Dead (the aborted and those who sacrificed them). If Murderous Abortion was legalized in 1977 or 1978 rather than 1973, we probably would have lost this race. If the peculiar institution had been abolished in 1787 the South would have dominated the North who built it's industry in slave like conditions on the crushed bodies and souls of countless immigrants. The evil of slavery was that it robbed families, states and God of the prosperity and ingenuity that comes from servitude of free men. The greater evil of abortion is similar in that the robs not only the victim but the family, state and God of life, service, genius and votes in perpetuity!!! We can never emancipate these sacrificed children.
