We need to rewrite the Senate rules at the beginning of the next Congress in January and remove the filibuster option for judicial appointment votes, they are voted after being passed out of the Judiciary committee.
This is the only way to get a Conservative justice ever appointed again.
Didn't Frist announce six months (or more) ago that he was going to do exactly that at the beginning of the new term if he was still the Majority leader? It was something about having a lower threshold with each filibuster vote until it got down to 50/50. Hope he has the guts to go ahead with it!
