Link to this page and listen to this analysis. Seems the vaunted MTV generation that Kerry relied upon did not materialize, however the MORAL MAJORITY came out in a big way.

I was surprised to hear this on NPR. Wonder if it will resonate with other media.

How do we know that any of these exit polls are right? I think that the "Kerry is a Dork" vote was responsible.

Juan was on Fox last night. He was ridiculous! He said that the Dems should not concede but send in the lawyers and fight. That they were not happy with the loss and should fight to overturn it. Fred Barnes went nuts! He said that just because an election doesn't go the way you want it to gives you no right to contest it. I am paraphrasing them both but it was incredible.

Exit polls should be outlawed!! The MSM tried their best to twist these polls to Kerry's advantage, but the people won out and re-elected our great president!!!!

If at Noon there are still 10 million undecided voters who just aren't sure who to vote for...and they pull up Drudge Report and see Kerry is winning this thing it becomes much easier for them to cast a vote for Kerry.

Exit polls are nothing but fake forged documents from CBS...OLD stories about explosions may be missing in Iraq from the UN and published by the NYTimes....etc...

They are influencing the electorate anyway they can.

A theory as to why the 'youth vote' didn't pan out for the Dems:

For decades now, the teaching of civics and American history has been declining in elementary and high schools. America has been criticized, even reviled, by teachers toeing the liberal, post-1960's line.

Why, then, would Democrats expect these brain-washed young people to take to heart the need to participate in politics in this country? That's clearly not a rational expectation.

Much more could be said, but that's the gist of it.

They say that every year -- when will they ever learn?
