I went to bed last night at around 9:30 (CST), and the news was not encouraging at all. I began to think to myself, "What am I going to do if Kerry wins?" I had decided that, no matter what, I would continue to pray for the President, even if it was Kerry. That would've been hard, but we would've had to do it, and to trust God to protect America, in spite of JFK.
Feeling a lot better this morning!
After years of cliff hanger elections and living in a family of rabid Dems, I've become immune to almost anything. All you have to do now is remember how wrong those exit polls were so you'll ignore them next time.
Get ready for 4 years of Dem whining and viciousness.
May the force be with you.
...coming from a dummy state (welfare state) NJ, I 've learned to wait. I normally wait until early evening
to look in on results. Exit polls are conducted to give the MSM something to talk about all day. So one has to ask what questions are asked, and who's asking them? I was not polled, although I walked right passed someone standing with a clip board who stopped an elderly lady behind me. Guess I didn't pass the profile....*shucks*

Never doubt me again, Luke.
As far as I am concerned, there is no need for apology. I, too, was frantic to the point of actually being sick to my stomach. I counldn't even begin to imagine a president kerry. I spent a lot of time in prayer and resigned that God is in control, whomever wins.
I am very much at peace this morning... not only by the win but by the fact that the MSM is beginning to see that morality is winning! We Christians... all of us... want to take back our country! I think this is the clearest message of this election and we have elected the man we feel can lead us in that direction. God's will be done for America and God bless America.
Exit polls are BS. A lot of us will only vote on the day of the election and many not 'til we get off work. I didn't vote until 1800 CST. Many were coming out and many more coming in during this time.
We understand...but it worked out in the end.
So cheer up and have a sip of champaigne.
I say, LET THE REPRISALS BEGIN!!
(just kidding)
Forgiven. Don't let it happen again:)
You stand forgiven ;)
Hey beebuster, I can't find this anywhere, but didn't W do MUCH better in California yesterday than four years ago? Like I said, I can't find a comparison. (BTW, I had one or two doubts myself) ;)
The exit polls were looking so bad the FOX NEWS Team was panicking for awhile too. This is not something you need to apoplogize for. It happens to the best of us.
I too felt uneasy when hearing that news. Try prayer, it has a peaceful affect on ones psyche.
I had already given up on Bush a week ago, and when the news reported high voter turnout I thought that Kerry would win in a landslide given the numerical advantage of D's over R's and the fact that Gore won the popular vote the last time around. I thank God that my assumptions were wrong, and thank God for the real Americans in the Heartland who recognized that a Kerry presidency would be a disaster.
