As much as I despise the French, they called the election hours ago. Leave it to the French to surrender first and to the liberals to not know when they've lost.

To be fair to French media, their "election night" special shows were consistent in declaring the Republican Party had the upper hand...

So, I raise my glass of wine to a well-crafted campaign and a much-deserved victory, along with the 25% of my countrymen who said they'd vote for President Bush if given the opportunity.
