"However, if you do make the futile attempt to do something about Paul, I strongly suggest you not use FR to do so."
I'm not using FR, I'm doing it through MOA and e-mail totally. This will be an effort strictly through a brotherhood of military officers.
As for Paul, unfortunately for him that's the luck of the draw. The only way the LP is going to learn is to take out their only viable politician. That he opposes the war only makes that job easier. It's time to fight fire with fire.

Enjoy the rest of this sweet day, I'm going to. Besides, it will take a couple of days before I get in contact with the right folks.
Time to head off for the auto show.

An excellent evening all together. No argument there. I've spent the day taunting the hell out of my liberal office mate, and plan on spending tonight annoying my lefty girlfriend. Hopefully she doesn't pull a Maria Shriver on me. :-S

The losses they may have from a very minority group of fringers is more then made up for by gains in other segments of the voting population. There ya go.

No sir. I mean objectionable. Honestly, must we call other freepers murdering terrorists? Good Heavens! The Libertarian Party is like al Qaeda, they'll make up any excuse to blow us all up.
I don't see any reference to FReepers there. Do you? Anyway, I explain my analogy. And I'll stand by it (although the post used better language than the tagline. I didn't have room in the tagline.)

Medved is going off on the Losers now.

You have to remember, the LP isn't about electing anyone...it's about playing spoiler. Which is why we have more elected office holders than all other third parties combined. LOL.

The party seems to be groping for leverage in moving the Republican Party towards constitutional and limited government. That's my opinion, I'm not a member or involved with them.
The simplistic idea that Democrats must be their friends is preposterous.

The simplistic idea that Democrats must be their friends is preposterous. I think they would gain more by making friends, not enemies.
To: WildTurkey
They have lost any focus on what they should be doing IMO.

What particular segments would you like the GOP to pick up? The gun-grabbers? The pro-abortion folks?

The point is not what I want but what happens. You take your ball and go home, fine. Everybody gets another ball and they don't have to deal with your whiny ass anymore.

Social conservatives, small-l libertarians, Buchananites, etc ALL showed up united behind Bush yesterday. The party will be moving right, and I'm thrilled.

Well, we're talking about the LP on this thread. Badnarik did worse than I thought. Nader too.
To: AmishDude
Well, we're talking about the LP on this thread.Oh. My bad. I agree with you that the LP is 90% retarded. Real libertarians work within the GOP for change.

Hint: Republicans don't own anyone's votes. People vote Libertarian because they don't want Bush, Kerry, or anyone else on the ballot.
Unless of course Libertarian voter ballots don't have spots for the Big 2.

"People vote Libertarian because they don't want Bush, Kerry, or anyone else on the ballot."
Actually that is not what the LP has said in their own press releases. They admit that they are campaigning to deny President Bush the election...in other words, Kerry owns their votes.
It's time to fix that problem.
