Washington State Governor's Race tied at 49% - Libertarian candidate taking 2% (!%%!!#^)
LOL, there, I fixed it.
A stranglehold on the obvious.
The LP is what all third parties are after two or threee cycles. They are full of crackpots and loonies who use the party as a vehicle to fulfill their own craving for attention. See the Reform party.
You have used your control of all three branches of the federal government to make government bigger, more expensive and more intrusive. By your repeated actions, you have proven yourselves to be against the principles of constitutional, limited government.
Therefore libertarians won't vote for you.
Because you have decieved us before, we don't believe you when you say you'll reduce the size of government. So if you want our votes in the future, you're going to have to prove to us that you want smaller government through the actions your currently elected officials.
And when you fail to do so (and you will), don't be surprised when we don't vote for you next time either.
Now that isn't too hard to understand, is it?
Way too logical for the obsessive anti liberty people to understand.
Here is the mirror test on their allegations.
You Republicans cost the Libertarians the election by not voting for them!!!
You loserpublicans stole the election from Libertarians!!!
I don't oppose it, it's just a whole lotta nothing.
But you are right, there's definitely hope at this point!
There is definately hope, and we must always keep in mind that it's not just the democrats that we have to fight against.
Why? Two reasons. First, Paul's domestic stance in no way makes up for his treachery on the war. Second, the LP designed this tool for sending a message...throw the race to their opponent to get their attention. It's time to get Paul's attention...the LP way. Kind of the goose/gander and sauce thing.
Have no idea when the next primary is for his seat, but if you can get somebody else to appeal to the primary voters, rotsa ruck. Methinks that will be a tall order without the would-be new candidate letting go of the nannystate biggummintpork crackpipe.
Why get a new candidate, simply support his opponent in the DNC. If you're going to teach him an LP lesson you have to do it correctly.
The catch is, you actually have to drink the DNC kool aid. You ready to tip that smiley faced pitcher into your mouth and say "yeaaaaaah"? Of course you would because it's pork flavored kool aid. Whatever.
Fair enough. How do you expect to do this, however? He's comfortably gerrymandered into his district, his district loves him, and he has perhaps the widest outside of the district support of the entire House.
Sorry, but I think your efforts might be better focused elsewhere.
On a side note, I believe you mentioned that you were working on a campaign for a House candidate. How did it go? We here in the 5th district of NJ managed to give a comfortable win to our very conservative Scott Garrett.
LOL! Exactly what the LP in Washington state has been doing for years now. Great tactic. Time for...payback.
If not through organizations like the RLC, how do you suggest we move the GOP closer to the principles of the mission statement of FR? I'm a big believer of "change from within", and think the RLC is the best avenue for doing so. We already have a bunch of great congresspeople on board and we're growing steadily.
You kidding? LP so called "kool aid" is Halal. No pork! The DNC wouldn't come within 100 miles of it.
The Texas Democrat party is not known for formiddable candidates. I really think you'll need to learn to coexist with Paul and the RLC. Yer stuck with 'em.
That's the easy part. One of the great things about an organization I belong to, the Military Officers Association, is it gives us a very powerful network. We use it for many purposes, ranging from group rate programs, employment, information and...politics.
I've already made the initial contacts necessary to get me to the right people in offices in Texas and Washington state to start a dialog about a domestic enemy.
The LP has made in plain, not just in Washington state, but in their own press releases this election, that they cannot be ignored. So it's time to no longer ignore them. It's time to send them a message they can understand, using their own tactics.
Rotsa Ruck.
The DNC wouldn't come within 100 miles of it? Why not, they never turn down the LP's willing assistance.
