Found a very interesting analysis of OBL's last tape. ( I don't know if you all have already seen this. My apologies if it's been posted already.) Here's a tidbit:

Having analyzed the whole speech there is no doubt that Bin Ladin's words were carefully crafted to drop a remote-controlled bomb on the U.S. election 96 hours from the finish line. The message ridiculed Bush heavily and was intended to sway the outcome of the election race in no uncertain terms towards a Kerry victory, yet his focus of his speech was towards the U.S. foreign policy.
