Obama must have read my post last week.
Pak nukes will be destroyed if Musharraf is ousted: US leader :
Washington, Sept 28 : Pakistan's nuclear arsenal will be destroyed if any move is made in that country to oust President Pervez Musharraf, a candidate for the US Senate has claimed.
The Dawn quoted Barack Obama as telling the Chicago Tribune that Washington would in all probability launch military strikes in Pakistan to destroy that country's nuclear arsenal if Musharraf lost power.
He further went on to say that the Bush Administration is concerned about the possibility of Islamic militants assuming power in case Musharraf was overthrown. (ANI)

"Skype plugs hole in VoIP software"

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Peer-to-peer phone company Skype has updated its Internet telephony software, patching a critical flaw in its client for Microsoft Windows-based systems.
The vulnerability could allow attackers to take control of a Skype user's PC after the victim clicks on a specially created URL, security information provider Secunia said Monday. By including a long string of characters in the link, the attacker could trigger a memory error known as a buffer overflow that could then be exploited to run a program.
"Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code," Secunia said. It has ranked the flaw as "highly critical"--its second-highest rating.
Skype acknowledged the security hole in its release notes for the update."
My jaw dropped when that news was reported, frankly.

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "LONDON Al Qaida has warned its agents that they have been infiltrated by the United States.
An Al Qaida spokesman said the infiltration had been conducted by the United States in cooperation with unspecified Arab intelligence services.
"We warn of attempts to infiltrate the holy warriors in Iraq," the Al Qaida spokesman said. "There is a need to kill spies and make them an example for punishment after their presence and activities have been demonstrated."
The statement came in wake of the capture of several Al Qaida agents in the Sunni Triangle and Mosul area of Iraq, Middle East Newsline reported. The arrests have pointed to links between Al Qaida and loyalists of deposed President Saddam Hussein.
The statement was relayed by the London-based Center for Islamic Research and Studies.
This was the first time Al Qaida has acknowledged that its forces have been penetrated by Western agencies. Until now, Western intelligence analysts said the United States and its allies have failed to infiltrate the middle and senior ranks of the Islamic movement."
Prayers and loving thoughts are continuing. You have many friends here. Don't ever forget that.
WASHINGTON (AP) A senior administration official says President Bush has asked national security adviser Condoleezza Rice to replace Colin Powell as Secretary of State. Steve Hadley, deputy national security adviser, will become Bushs new national security adviser, the official said.

I wonder where Obama got this deep-intel.
Is he just trying to "stir the pot" and make a name for himself?.......or does he really know something?
Something about this man just doesn't sit well with me.
Blair warns UK still faces terrorist threat
BILL JACOBS
WESTMINSTER EDITOR
TONY BLAIR will tonight play the security card and warn that Britain and the west still face a clear and immediate terrorist threat.
And in a major speech in the city of London he will defend his controversial close relationship with American President George Bush.
He will say that the trans-Atlantic alliance is vital to protecting Europe and spreading democracy across the world.
In his annual Mansion House speech the Prime Minister will pick up on weekend comments by Home Secretary David Blunkett who warned that Osama bin Laden and his al-Qaida terror network are "on our doorstep and threatening our lives". Mr Blair will say this threat requires a robust response from government and strong leadership.
snip
He accepted that his alliance with President Bush over Iraq had split world opinion but said critics including France were not "facing up to the reality" of terrorism.
Mr Blair said: "What sometimes people in Europe find hard to understand is that the American world view changed on September 11.
"When these people killed 3000 totally innocent people in an unprovoked slaughter in the streets of New York, if the world doesnt wake up to that and say whats going on here, something different is going on its simply not facing up to reality."

If I read the post correctly, the statement was made Sept. 28. He had not even been elected at that point.
Nothing like a 4.5 hour meeting to cut into my freeping time.
Hunting was great, but didn't see anything worth shooting. (Actually, I got lazy and didn't feel like dealing with gutting, skinning, de-boning, butchering). Still, it was a good day in the woods. Saw 10 deer, 2 fox, ~ 18 turkey, and about a zillion squirrels.
I've lowered by personal alert level from SEVERE to HIGH. I'm pleasantly surprised we've not been hit yet.
Still, take no chances. ALWAYS be aware of your surroundings. IMO, we still have sleeper cells operating in the US. The tanker is still missing, along with the Mexican crop duster and a whole bunch of propane.
Mr. RR gets home from China tonight. He wants some real American food.......Tacos!!! LOL... He's tired of duck tongues and monkey brains.
I'm off to the kitchen. Will check in later.
You are right about the date, funny thing this came in my news alerts for today.
Look at what there web page says...LOL

Thanks for posting all that Kimmie, quite interesting.
A couple years ago I saw turkeys looking like they were having a heavy discussion under the trees alongside the highway. They seemed so oblivious to the traffic going by and it was in the early afternoon.
