The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

I remember hearing about Jon's internet exploits some time ago, before I joined FR. I find it interesting that people are associating his illness with mold, especially in light of the evil people that he angered.

I have a Christian friend who went to teach in a place that seemed overrun by darkness, here in the US, and she was almost killed by mold. She still suffers from it terribly. She had to come back to this area, and may very well be harmed by it for the rest of her life.

There's just something otherworldly evil about that stuff.

If this is all true, Jon's an amazing guy.

I can identify with him in that I hate sitting on the sidelines. If I were 15 years younger and without my wonderful ties that I have now, I would enlist somewhere. Perhaps not military, but certainly somewhere. There are so many of us who so want to help, but sometimes lack direction. May we all be pointed toward information that will help, and may the LEOs LISTEN when informed!

FBI seeks help in missing fuel tanker case

NEW YORK (CNN) -- A missing fuel tanker, initially thought to be stolen for parts, is causing concern among federal law enforcement officials, who are appealing to the public for help.

The 44-foot gasoline tanker was stolen in April from a parking lot in Pennsauken, New Jersey.

"We're asking the public to be on the lookout for a fuel tanker in a location inconsistent with where you'd typically see an oil or gasoline delivery," FBI spokeswoman Jerri Williams said.

Williams said investigators initially believed the tanker was stolen for parts or to dump toxic waste illegally.

"If that were the case, we would have found the carcass" of the tanker, she said.

"We're very concerned. It's been almost seven months, and we still haven't found it," she said.

That's the reason I'm here, Kimmie. I'm also proud to work in a field that helps the effort over there, and anywhere in the world we need to put a guided weapon or ship.

At 45 years old, I don't know what military outfit would have me, so I guess the next best thing I can do is put my mind into it.

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) - Temporary lighting used in the attic of the old Prince George's County courthouse during renovations caused the fire that destroyed much of the 19th century building, county fire investigators said Monday.

Based on witness interviews and analysis of the building, fire investigators determined the electric lighting system sparked the blaze on Wednesday, according to fire department spokesman Mark Brady.

He could not say what specifically about the lighting caused the fire. However, the fire was ruled an accident."
