Could California turn out to be a surprise? Could Arnold have been convincing enough in his RNC speech to entice his people to come out in support of Bush? It could happen. Take a look at the early results. It is not a stretch to see California swing. I know it's somewhat of a long shot, but the early numbers are surprising.
Yes, I was thinking the same thing when I posted earlier
about the state being called for Kerry with 0% of the precincts counted--wouldn't that be the cherry on top of the frosting for President Bush, to take CA? :-)
I think California is going to take a lot more work and a lot of patient persuasion to get the not-so-hardcore liberals to see the light. Arnold is the first - and biggest - step in that direction, thankfully, but there's still some work to do.
Agreed. CA is liberal. I see Kerry signing a defense-of-marriage act before CA goes right.
BTTT to find later! Thanks!
I know it looks good now but Humbolt and Riverside Counties have not ben added in. They are good for hundreds of thousands of votes that break hard sKerry. It would be nice but i doubt it. IMO as I sit here in Orange County, CA. A republican holdout county.
The cherry: To have the networks be wrong about PA.
No way in hell. But Washington and Michigan could very well be...
PA will be a full blown red state before CA ever will.
California gap closed from 7 to 5 points with a 2% added precinct report. If the trend continues, Bush wins California and it's a landslide.
Riverside County elected Arnold!!!
Riverside County elected Arnold!!!
Not even if hell freezes over but it doesn't matter. Bush is proving to CA and NY, once again, just how meaningless they are to the other 48 of us.
Can someone explain this to me: New Mexico is 47-52 with 67% of vote in, and it is too close to call. California is 47-52 with 21% of the vote in, and it has been called for Kerry, practically as soon as our polls closed. Shouldn't California be too close to call yet as well?
I must admit that the race in CA is closer than I thought it would be...but I think Kerry will take CA by at LEAST 5 points when it's all over, maybe as much as 10...
I can't explain it cuz it angers me as much as you.
Yes, but Bush is not a RINO.
