Absentee ballots mailed too late to get them back in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. Suing to extend the returning deadline in state to match the out of country deadline. Nov 11?

Surprise Surprise!

Idiot Barrone on Fox said something about Bush. Of course FL elections are run by local elections supervisors WHO ARE ELECTED. It is a DIM DIM in Broward.

In 2000, Clinton saw to it the military ballots went out too late all over the country. Florida threw them out.

Well, we'll see what the results are. There are some 8,000 ballots in question. They are absentee, which aren't usually overwhelmingly demoCREEP. In fact, Republicans usually do quite well in absentee balloting.

I think that the remaining returns left (in PB and Broward) are going to be offset by some of the other gains in other counties from Bush's numbers in 2000. 88.1% of precincts reporting.

So, if the spread is big enough, then the 8,000 won't matter.

If they sue...it sets precidence. And in 2008...it might be to the advantage of the new Republican candidate. I' m for it. GW is ahead, and if you count the absentee ballots...there will a nice cushion of military ballots to help out of the bunch.

Big surprise! I am shocked that the ACLU would do something like this.

Odd.

In 2000, Gore (er, Kerry) (successfully!) threw out military ballots that were post-marked late, received on time but mot postmarked, and other minor problems.

If Bush keeps a 300,000 vote spread, the ACLU and all the absentee ballots they can stuff won't do didly. He'll be untouchable in Florida.

It's outside the margin Bush took FL with 52%. My wife and I voted in Clay county at 3:30 p.m and our precint had a 100 percent Republican turnout...

ACLU = legal arm of Old Media. (although I must say, they used to do good work (say the '60's) but are now just carrying water for the Dems/Socialists).

Proving what they lack in knowledge they make up in arrogance, like most in the judiciary and legal system, Greta Von Face Lift and Judge Jacka$$ Napolitano just blamed "the state" of Fla. and Jeb Bush for not mailing the absentee ballots on time. In fact it was these rat-run counties that were responsible. ITS THE RATS' OWN FAULT DAMNIT!!!

Not only may the margin be large enough but the absentee ballots they are counting are republican 3 to 1. Fox said earlier that becasue of these ballots that Florida said it may be a week before they are able to count them all. so let ACLU whine. I bet this was so set up ahead of time. Why would some one wait until today to say they hadn't gotten their ballot. Are they all nursing home patients with dementia!!!!

ACLU does that kind of stuff all the time in Florida. It like a work guarantee for attorneys.

Why does the ACLU always have to fart on the dance floor?

Because, in the ACLU's view, there just aren't enough pedophiles, Nazis, murderers and attempted stolen elections.

The day that the ACLU is dismantled will be a great day in America.

Yeah, this ought to actually help Bush: absentee ballots tilt Republican, due to military vote and (as Rush put it this afternoon) the fact that Republicans are always out of town trips for their high-powered fat-cat businesses or living it up at vacation houses. ;-)
