Good for your son! My son's 16 year old friend told me he wished he was 18. He wanted to vote for GWB so badly.
My own 18 year old voted in her first presidential election today! She's told me a few times she was voting for Nader but would laugh after she said it. She loves to pull my conservative chain.
Today she came home and her brother asked her who she voted for. She said, straight faced, "Nader, he's for legalizing pot."
It was 10 minutes before she told her brother she voted for Bush. :)
My son is 8 and he said he'd quit video games for a week if Bush looses... He held up signs with me today to help get out the vote.
This is my first Presidential election too (I missed the last one by a little over a month).
