GOP sources on the scene in Michigan tell HUMAN EVENTS of "unbelievable Democratic illegalities."

According to one source, operatives from the United Auto-Workers union and MoveOn.org are already denying GOP election volunteers access to voter rolls.

Our sources also report that MoveOn.org members are campaigning inside the 100 foot perimeter.

Just within the last 15 minutes, I rec'd a pre-recorded phone call from ''America Coming Together'' directed towards college students. (Ilive in Wisconsin.) The msg went something like this: There are reports of Republican poll watchers preventing college students from voting.... Something about not being intimidated & talking to the Dem poll watcher stationed at the polling place. Also, be sure to tell your friends around the dormitory... I didn't listen to the entire msg

Grellis, a MI FReeper reported that her ballot, along with two neighbors who all voted straight R, had their ballots marked before going into the final machine. She said that the worker looked at her ballot, stripped off the top strip (normal in MI) then inserted the strip with her ballot.
She contacted the authorities.

Which dead person did they claim was denied the right to vote this time? I can't believe they are doing a repeat of St. Louis. I just pray the GOP has figured out how to counter this tactic.

The Demoncrats will never be able to counter the MASSIVE Republican turnout with voter fraud. Not this time. Not ever again.

Take a deep breath and repeat after me -- Bush wins easily.

These people wore brown shirts in the 1930's. Law enforcement can't look the other way.

Why was the poll worker looking at her ballot without it being in the protective sleeve? In most states I've voted, the poll workers never see the actual ballot because you put it directly into the collection box. Something smells fishy all right...

I can't find any information on the exact locations where this is occuring...I'm guessing Wayne County, which includes Detroit...the next best thing would be to call county supers...and other officials and ask where this is occuring. I do know that MoveOn.org has some 70,000 of its brownshirts on the ground in Michigan.

Did she save this ballot as evidence? They should be posted here at Free Republic. I've already seen a report on Fox News about the exact same thing...they're giving people ballots already marked for Kerry....it looks like poll workers are colluding with the Kerry Campaign.

The Bush administration needs to bring in the FBI.

Like they did when the outgoing klinton-kids trashed the White House Executive Office Building?

I've said it before, I'll say it again. The Bush administration needs to bring in the FBI.

The Army...?

They should've been working on this issue for four years.

I completely agree. There are plenty of things they've been "coasting" on.

I can recall many reported instances of intimidation and fraud during the last go ‘round and did the Bush administration enthusiastically pursue them?

No, they did not. In fact, not a single instance was prosecuted to my knowledge.

There were also instances (reported and verified) of rampant vandalism at the WH and other government offices. Did the Bush administration actively prosecute them?

No. In fact, they pooh-poohed the reports and implied they were inaccurate and that it didn’t actually happen or wasn’t as serious as reported. (Unfortunately, I had an acquaintance that was IN the WH and had photos and related to me that there was vandalism and that it was substantial in nature – that shot GWB’s credibility right in the butt with me – and from Day One too.)

Is Sandy Berger still out floating around? I recall a little incident with him recently…. (I also recall that yes, he is still as free – and carefree - as a bird).

Just pointing out things so people don’t get their hopes up. It’s counter-productive. Bush isn’t losing sleep over plenty of things. Don’t waste time (IMO) being more concerned about his future than he is.

MoveOn has a headquarters on State Street in Ann Arbor less than 2 miles north of I-94 (east (right) side of the street). I have thus far refrained from paying them a visit as I did not want ANY bad press to reflect on the President, but after 8pm tonight anything goes... My ancestors fought the Nazis in Poland during WWII and their sacrifices will not go in vain... If this is the kind of game that MoveOne wants to play, then so be it... I have NO patience for this garbage...

Democrats don't want any eye witnesses observing their fraud. How does an observer who doesn't speak to voters, who can't prevent people from voting, supposed to intimidate a voter?

4 years ago I talked my sister in Grosse Pte. to have an election day party which we all know was never resolved for many weeks.

My niece's husband newly relocated from Ft. worth TX had the unpleasant experience in voting in an east side detroit precinct.

He waited over 3 1/2 hours to vote (God bless him) and observed bus loads of elderly people being dropped off.

Throughout the crowd there were UAW folks handing out literature and even inside the building just as you enter the area where the booths and registration are held they were handing out "DETAILED PAMPHLETS" to the voters whereas all you had to do was place such pamphlet over the butterfly ballot box and follow the instructions on the pamphlet.

He brought one of these to the party and they were complete with photos on who to vote for and who not to vote for!

The company I work for has a plant on Connor and Charlevoix in Detroit and I know all the UAW guys on both committee and shop.

They admit that that is what they do on election day. Provide transportation, literature and whatever else is necessary to insure an overwhelming support for the democratic party!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds to me like this year that common practice is now being challenged. I for one would not wish to be a Poll watcher in the area stated above without proper CCW protection however existing laws would prohibit me from carrying around that school.......

They know the Republicans come out after work.
Watch for Ohio to get screwy soon if the exit polls swing widely for Bush. They do this every year.

I doubt if MoveOn is operating in Wayne county (highly demoncratic). More than likely they are in highly Republican areas...

Good luck....let me know what happens. Luckily for me...I'm not aware that they have any of their bases in North Carolina...otherwise I'd be paying them a visit.
