I'll take Ralph Reed's numbers over anything Mary Mattalin says. She was still saying Bush's father was going to win when it was crystal clear there was no chance for him.

this kind of talk makes me nervous, it could be an attempt to lessen the blow. I hope not(I should point out that by nature I am a major pessimist) and still believe the President is going to pull this off but I sure do wish I could relax a little bit.
I heard Drudge on Hannity earlier. He was skeptical of the exit polls. He stated clearly that while he did not trust them as being accurate (noted that the methocology was flawed) he had to report them nonetheless.
If y'all remember, NBC called Florida for Gore the minute the polls closed despite the fact that the actual votes didn't jive with their call.
