Just read on Drudge:
Bush 17,264 Kerry 9,540
'Nuf Said!
Guam-tastic
Guam has electoral votes?
Bush won in 2000 18k to 16k.
There's a military installation there.. quite likely alot from there are in Iraq right now. Which is the reason for the lower vote count.
No, but they have TWO military bases!
Guam doesn't have any electoral votes though, right?
Guam-allicious!
Don't most military votes get counted for individual states?
I can hear Dandy Don now, "Turn out the lights the party's over..."
Sorry for the repeat post, folks. I was typing too fast on my search and spelled "gaum". :-(
Hawaii is next, Pacific domination!
Good to hear that a place I once called home is going for Bush!
"Hawaii is next, Pacific domination!"
I believe Hawaii is on the wrong side of the line. It should be a little after 9 am, 2 November, there. We'll have to wait. [sigh]
American Samoa, Guam and US Virgin Islands each have a single delegate.
Citizens of US Territories such as Guam, Puerto Rico, Samoa and the Virgin Islands are not eligible to participate in the US presidential election. US Territories also have no Electoral College votes. However, memebers of the military's votes are counted based on their home state.
Why the shock? Bush will win by a land slide victory!
Enough said!
Bush- 63.9%
Kerry-35.3%
No shock, just happy happy happy :-)
