So, do you suppose Bill and Hill voted for W, or did they go for Nadar?
Anyone else in New York find out when they got to there polling place that it had been changed? Our daughter was registered in a different place than us so we took her first. The lady just happened to ask me if I was voting there. Told her no, and where we were supposed to vote. She told me that place was closed and we should have been notified. Wasn't a big problem, since we were moved to the same place as her, would have been nice to have known in advance though.
I was hoping there would be a NY thread. Voted for my man W in NYC today, Queens County. It took me about 2.5 minutes, and that was because I needed to sign in. It was about 8 a.m., before work, and I was 96. Not that high according to the poll worker. I've heard that lines were much longer in other areas of NYC, but not where I was. Have great confidence that the President is going to win this tonight.

A single Kerry guy outside, sheepishly trying to give me a flyer, I said, "Sorry to disappoint you" and walked by. My wife elbowed me and said I was rude. I denied that, saying I could have been much worse.
Oh well, two votes in for Bush, two proverbial drops in a vast liberal ocean.
Voted in Upstate NY this morning. Not crowded, though the poll workers said it had been busier than usual already.
Three votes for Bush in our house, if we can't win NY for W, maybe we'll help him win the popular vote too!

I voted in Bay Ridge Brooklyn at 5:55 AM (the poll worker said "I'll open early, you can vote now"). I walked out at 6:00 AM. Quick and painless, in and out, zip zip. Go Bush!
PS- I was #2, there was one man in front of me.
The lines here in Upstate NY are a little above normal. We have a couple of local elections that have people excited. My wife, brother, mother, father, and best friend voted for Dubya. I know we don't stand a chance in this state (thanks to NYC) but we are doing what we can.

Someone in another thread said when they got off the train in NYC there were Kerry people on all street corners.........I wondered why they were wasting people in NY when they could have used them in NJ.
I voted for Bush/Cheney, O'Grady, Walrath in Upstate NY today. It made my day.

They were really moving at the poll----a voter went in--made there vote, and out they went in less than a minute.
I live in a fairly (for NY) republican enclave......not that will help, of course :-(

Voting in Sheepshead Bay tonight.
Voted in Nassau County LI at 7am. Number 25 on the list and saw more registered Republicans than Dems, althouhg that means nothing considering all the teachers that live in my area.

In nyc most of the races on the ballot have only one candidate running. You have your choice of one democrat in all of the judge positions. What a joke. Everything ran smoothly, probably because there is only one person to vote for with the exception of the presidential and senate races.

LOL! That reminded me of when a young DNC guy nicely asked if I would help get Kerry elected and I screamed, "NO WAY!!!" at him. Clearly, I was very rude and I'm normally very calm and a nice to everyone. I just couldn't control myself.
