"attitude and body temperatures"

Ya, Methinks either attitudes will change, or their body temps will become ambient where their dropped.

I've a cousin that's been in the Suck for these last many years, got a set of the new digital cammies coming. my old jungles are fitting a little tight these days.

Semper Fi, Marines!!

It's nice to see the way the general Public is treating our service people now days. Times change.

Public attitude about our military, gets warmer the more they fear the enemies of this nation...

I guess the same tie dyed, pot smoking bastards that believed the traitorous liars like Cronkite/Kerry in the 60s/70's -- now fear the death and destruction the Islamanazis can deliver to Americans here in America...leading to their "temporary affection" for the military..

Don't be fooled for a moment, a warrior is respected ONLY when the civilians fear for their own sorry asses..
You need only visit your nearest VA hospital to see the low regard afforded our injured brothers...unless there have been HUGE changes after President Bush took office..
My last visit was in 98 - to an old friend that had finally lost it. It was impossible to hold back the tears from seeing his condition and the condition of the area he was confined to and his surroundings.. Pathetic!

YES - on this subject I'm a foul tempered, angry cynic...
I'll never forget the non-welcome home we received, but you are right about the mood towards our young men today...
I travel frequently, and see it in all the airports....
It IS encouraging...lets see if it lasts..
