The tires of at least 30 cars and vans rented by the Republican Party to carry voters to the polls were slashed, Milwaukee police said this morning. The discovery was made at 6:30 a.m., said Sgt. Mark Wroblewski. When can we expect the press to hop on this story and lament the disenfranchisement of voters who would have been assisted to their polling places by these now-unusable cars?
Oh...right. Never.

"The rental cars were parked near a GOP office in the 7100 block of W. Capitol Dr."
I know that neighborhood well.

Based on the demographic of the address given, that'd be my guess.

"Where is CNN? Where is the NYTimes? Where is Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Mfume?" They're busy planning how to present this story as an anti-Republican one. If they present the story at all it will sound like this: "Republican volunteers taking Bush supporters to vote this morning found the tires of their vehicles were flat. An eye witness holding a steak knife and a Kerry/Edwards sign has told CNN he belives the tires were flattened by Republicans who were attempting to make it look like Democrats were trying to rig the election.

Ugh. Maybe this could maybe swing a few last minute undecideds though.

K-Lo referenced the Milwaukee van-tire-slashing on NRO's The Corner after Rush reported it and she supposedly had a phone call. But I think The Corner has subsequently un-posted it.
Is there any question as to whether it really happened?
