I am honored to represent the GOP today as a poll watcher in very conservative Riverside County, California. I have a hot line to FR and will post any newsworthy events on this thread as they occur. Please ask to be on a ping list if you like.
Now don't go an intimidate some poor, helpless minority voter, you....you...you....mean, nasty conservative. :)
Great! I salute you.
You are in my home county! (I grew up in Corona/Norco where my folks and lots of family still live)
Wouldn't it be great if Bush carried California. That would just make my day :)
Wishful thinking I know....but still.
Ping me please.
I am Riverside County/Temecula area. Will be voting at French Valley Airport this afternoon.
I think we have a chance...........
I just got back from voting! :) I'm in Los Angeles county.
Just moved to Corona from Norwalk. Moved from a heavily Democratic district (Congressional Rep. Napolitano (D) running unopposed) to a more conservative area. Lots more Bush/Cheney signs and bumper stickers in Riverside County. Put my sign up the first day.
We most definately have a chance. Bush will win Riverside/San Bernardino Counties heavily. He did so in 2000. Bonnie Garcia is our gal here. This is a GOP state with a DUmmie hacker writing code to skew the results.
Please include me in the ping list. Thanks
ping me!
That would be sweet, I moved to Chino Hills from Phoenix about a month and a half ago and the first thing my wife and I did was register. So...2 more Republican votes in CA. :)
San Benito County-Hollister
I will have a camera with me all day today, especially at the polls (in the car there, in case that's not considered kosher), and be prepared to follow any vans or busses that pull up with a load of voters. Leaving myself plenty of time.
Please keep me on the today-only ping list.
Ditto - I'm in La Quinta...she is fabulous, and we love her outrage over the registration tactics of the 'rats.
If you acquire any data that you need combed or organized to demonstrate indication of systematic fraud, please let me know.
I just returned from voting, cast the second ballot in my polling place :) I'm in Orange County. Noticed two things:
1. Poll workers didn't have a CLUE when it came to people who had address changes. They were all confused over whether or not to let these people cast a provisional ballot. WTHECK??
2. We were waiting in line (50 deep) and it happened to pass 7 am. By the time it was 7:03, people were rolling eyes and sighing, a la Algore. So I turned around (I was fourth in line) and said, "Feeling disenfranchised, yet?!". The whole line erupted in laughter. GOTV!
My daughter is in Austria for a semester abroad while attending Franciscan University, Steubenville.
Before she left, in August, she filled out the form for her Absentee ballot. Well, she and her friend, also from San Diego, did not recieve their ballots!
So, the question is: Is she a disenfranchised voter?
Oh wait, she's Republican.
Voted already here in East Long Beach. Was in and out in 15 minutes. Its light turnout for an area that is mostly Democratic. The House district is represented by Republican Dana Rohrabacher but the state (Assembly and Senate) seats are configured for Democrats to win.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!
I think it is entirely possible.
