I hope to God that we aren't waiting for Hawaii to put us over the top. Winning will be nice, but I hope it's not to get us past 270.

Hope we don't need but it would be real kick in the macadamia to Kerry if is.
To: Koblenz
It would be very funny if it put Bush over 270 but I hope it is not thta close and Bush wins easy.

We'll take it. We'll take anything. I hope John F'n Kerry gets no electoral votes at all. I want Osama to have to choose from 50 Red States, a united front.

Hawaii maybe the Key to the election for Bush.
Bush needs to win Florida, Iowa, Ohio, Hawaii, NM, Co.
That gives him 270 and the election.

When you talk about Hawaii's economy you are talking about tourism.
They really got hurt after 9-11.
They no the security issue directly affects their day to day lives.

Poll averages at RCP has Bush at 227.
If he gets just FL and OH, that's 47.
Bush wins with 274, even without HA, WI, NM, IA.

Don't put a lot of credence in the RCP results with the latest poll date. October 20.

Why don't we have anything more current on HI polling...these numbers are sooo old.
To: KidGlock
I've been saying that Hawaii is conservative for two years. I've been over there twice in four years and their conservative station is more conservative than some mainland stations.

That is not true...the economy in Hawaii is booming....tourism has been good since 9-11. That is why the state is leaning for Bush.
