It hasn't shown up on the Rasmussen site yet, but I assume this is their final projection?

Btw, please be sure to vote today my friends. I voted early so be sure to do your duty, too!

Bush above 50 in Rasmussen on election day.

I told you so!

Rasmussen will be more accurate this year than Gallup's 49-49 poll.

I just finished reading Slick: A Novel written by Daniel Price who runs Abused by the News. There's a paragraph on page 58 that sums up the real problems with polls and pollsters.
What the pollsters who steer this country don't want you to know is that phone surveys, by their very nature, suck. They rely on the feedback of the two kinds of people: those who enjoy talking to telemarketers and those who enjoy lying to telemarketers. Neither group speaks well for the rest of us.
I voted this morning. First time for me in my new town, but the murmuring of those around me seemed to indicate that turnout was very high.

My family is praying for a Bush win. Ever since the Canadian federal election is was feeling kind of down. A Bush win tonight would make me feel a lot better.

With regard to the New York City vote, I believe that not one NYC citizen on 9/12/01 got up and said, "Oh, how I wish Al Gore were President today!!"

By the same token, I believe that in the privacy of the voting booth today, many voters today will not be saying, "I'll feel so much safer next year if John Kerry is President!"

Despite Party affiliation, and despite other issues on which they may differ with GWB, I believe that an overwhelming sense of self-preservation will determine many votes for the President.

After all, what is there in Kerry's 20-year Senate career that would make one believe he can protect us?

PRAY! FAST!

GET ALL YOUR FRIENDS TO THE POLLS (PROVIDED YOU KNOW THEY ARE VOTING FOR W....)

THERE IS STILL TIME TO CHANGE MINDS IF SOMEBODY HAS NOT VOTED YET, AS WELL.

LET'S SMACK KERRY HARD!

Site Meter Usually the polls of the final day is identical to actual vote percentages...If Bush breaks 50% in the popular vote this goose is cooked...

Outstanding. This translates to a 6% lead if the R's match the D's in showing up to vote. Hope that's the case.
