There IS a mechanism to get decisions from the Supreme Court at any time. There was a legendary case where attorneys hiked into the woods to find Justice Douglas. They emerged with a signed order. If this federal judge, who should have disqualified himself anyway, rules in Daschle's favor, the appeal goes first to the Circuit, not to the Supremes.

Yes Congressman, I was asking about contacting the Circuit. They literally go knocking on the Judges' doors, right? Tonight, right? More than one Judge, or a majority, or what (if you know)?

Then why couldn't we get an injuction againt that God awful ruling about poll watchers in Ohio?
