INTERVENTION TO HEAD OFF ELECTION LOSS
DASCHLE LAWYERS GO TO FEDERAL COURT AT 8:00 PM TONIGHT TO STEAL VOTES, ELIMINATE REPUBLICAN POLL WATCHERS
SIOUX FALLS Anticipating a loss to Republican challenger John Thune tomorrow ending his 26-year congressional career, Senator Tom Daschle will seek federal judicial intervention in the election process tonight, Monday, November 1 during an emergency hearing in federal court in Sioux Falls at 8:00 PM.
The hearing will be before Federal Judge Larry Piersol who was appointed by Daschle to federal court and served as Daschles personal legal counsel in 1978.
This is nothing short of an attempt to steal an election Tom Daschle knows he is about to lose tomorrow, said Thune for Senate campaign manager Dick Wadhams. Daschles goon lawyers will seek to get Republican poll watchers removed from reservations and for voters to lose their right to vote.
Lawyers representing Tom Daschle successfully called for the hearing tonight in front of Daschle-appointed Judge Piersol.
The Pennington County Auditor was informed earlier today that Daschle lawyers will seek to ban the counting of legitimate absentee ballot requests in Pennington County tomorrow, Election Day, morning.
That is a good question!! we need our legal eagles to look at that. This is a joke. If you read the article, the judge could rule in tommys favor and a motion could not be heard till after the election. which, makes the whole thing a joke.
and here I thought it was going to be a boring pre-election night. Daschle sure has made it exciting and rev'd up the Freepers.
Dictionary.com (Merriam-Webster went for dollars to use their site):
goon
1. A thug hired to intimidate or harm opponents.
2. A stupid or oafish person.
Sounds like Wadhams got it just right.
Ellsworth AFB, eh. Trying to disenfranchise the military again. Oh Oh .............NOT GOOD..
I predict Daschle's going down hard tomorrow. Harder than he was, even before this evening's shenanigans.
>>hearing will be before Federal Judge Larry Piersol who was appointed by Daschle to federal court and served as Daschles personal legal counsel in 1978.
If this judge does NOT recuse himself he will be the most shameful thug in black robes I've seen in WEEKS!
(These putrid RATS with gavels embolden each other with their every foul move)
I think the appeals court will get involved tonight if need be, this is too important to let it slide.
Goons = what John Kerry called Bush supporters that he would see when campaigning.
Thune has got to make up his mind to fight this - no matter what! This race is almost as important to this country as the presidential election is.
2002 election results for Pennington County:
Thune 21,790
Johnson 13,732
If Kerry and Daschle are in the same huddle here then I'm very happy! It's this kind of bs that's going to guarantee a Bush landslide.
Semper Fi
Slime is slime.

That is for sure. I've been praying for months that daschle doesn't make the cut. We need the Senate clear of his obstructionism, etc., to get some right-thinking justices on the USSC.
>>Bush will win tomorrow night and Daschle is gonna be toast, how can thing be any brighter :-)
ummm... sorry this isnt a bright thought...
but Shrillary will gleefully take over Daschle's position in the Senate and is probably working behind the scenes to make that happen!

I don't think Kerry has enough of a moral center to tone down any descent. I think there is nothing this guy wouldn't do (except face an honest to God Vietnam hero like the SBVTS are, and call him a liar), to win this election.
Just heard on the Tony Snow radio show (tape delayed) that one of Kerry's advisors called John Howards office in Australia this weekend and warned him not to come out in favor of Bush, because if Kerry wins, he (Howard) would regret it in the future.
Does that sound like someone that cares about bad publicity at this point?
Can anyone say "conflict of interest?"
