The link above will take you to WRAL's (Raleigh, NC) website where you can vote for the "most negative" campaign commercials being run for NC candidates.
The link below (which I got from the link above) will take you to the Republican Governor's Association ad against incumbent Democrat Governor Mike Easley (for those non-Tarheels who might not know.) The title of the commercial is "Travel".
I saw this commercial for the first time yesterday, and I busted out laughing, it was so silly. It looks like Beach Blanket Bingo at the end. Our Republican candidate for governor, Patrick Ballantine, has an uphill battle to win tomorrow, but I sure had a good laugh at this commercial, nonetheless. (NC has a tendency to vote D for governors, but hasn't voted a D for president since 1976, and that was only because Jimmy Carter was Southern. We haven't made that mistake since.)

I saw it online. I wasn't very impressed, but it wasn't horrible either. Probably not very effective.
I just noticed at the end of the commercial (there's a link to it in post #1) they put a disclaimer on the screen that reads "Dancing man not actually Gov. Easley". ROFL!
I know it's not effective, but it's funny. At least I thought so. Maybe it's just me.
