Ohio worriers (and I'm not) should read this:

Ohio Marriage Amendment "worth 50,000 to 100,000 votes" for President Bush

Yeah, that's right because of the census changes. Bush wins 274-264 if he wins every state but NH, I think. As others are saying in this thread, if Bush wins OH and Fla., it's over. That's why Rove's saying that Kerry must sweep the Midwest (including Ohio) to win (Rove's assuming a Fla. win in that statement).

Poll Wrap: Bush is somewhere between winning and losing both Ohio and Florida...

My gosh, he has to win New Mexico twice?!

LOL

He has to win it, before he loses it.

My head is about to explode. The static from all the polls doesn't mean a thing, IMO. We're going to win Florida. We should probably win at least a couple of the upper Midwest states in play. We might take a couple of surprises.

I am confident we are going to carry Bush to the White House for four more years, and am looking forward to Wednesday when this will all be over.

They're not going to take Florida. Jeb won in '02 by 13%

despite the MSM's and FNC's best attempts to scare us into watching their coverage on Election Night to see who wins.

Not gonna do it. They will do everything possible to make it a nailbiter or Kerry victory until the truth becomes undeniable. I am not going to let those jerks keep me on pins and needles all night long like they did last time.

I have a headache! First Bush is losing Oh, then he's ahead....then he's winning FL and now he may not. GRRRRR!

Re-read the excerpt, and you'll feel better:

"...one senior Kerry adviser, after days in which the campaign had been especially bullish on the state [OHIO], predicted Florida's 27 electoral votes might be easier to grab than Ohio's 20."

He said that FL would be easier than OH for Kerry to grab. I take that to mean that OH has turned more Bush's direction rather than him losing ground in FL.

If it's not close, we'll be able to call it by 8:10 pm. If we can't call it by then, it'll go into overtime.

The latest Quinnipiac poll of likely voters in Florida has Bush at 51 and Kerry at 43 with 6% undecided.

The same poll for Pennsylvania has both candidates at 47 and 7% undecided.

This poll for New Jersey has Kerry at 48 and Bush at 43 with 6% undecided.

What kind of person is STILL undecided at this point?

Kerry will be forced to win ALL of the following to win: Pennsylvania, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, New Mexico, New Hampshire, New Mexico, and Hawaii.

If Bush wins Ohio and FL, Kerry has to win the above states plus another Bush 2000 state to win. He cannot win by holding the Gore 2000 states plus NH.

The clueless, unserious types. Most of them won't even vote.
