Quinnipiac University Poll results in 3 key states:

Bush leads Kerry 51-43 percent in Florida;

Bush, Kerry in dead heat in Pennsylvania;

Kerry is ahead 48 – 43 percent in New Jersey

Could you post this on the Fox thread showing Kerry ahead in FL,please? People over there are getting ready to turn on the opera music and draw a warm bath.

Quinnipiac University Poll results in 3 key states:

Bush leads Kerry 51-43 percent in Florida;
Bush, Kerry in dead heat in Pennsylvania;
Kerry is ahead 48 – 43 percent in New Jersey
Three separate Quinnipiac University polls of likely voters in key states today show:

President George W. Bush leads Democratic challenger John Kerry 51 – 43 percent in Florida, with 1 percent for independent candidate Ralph Nader and 4 percent undecided. In the U.S. Senate race, Republican Mel Martinez leads Democrat Betty Castor 49 - 44 percent, with 6 percent undecided.
President Bush and Sen. Kerry are tied at 47 – 47 percent in Pennsylvania, with 6 percent undecided. Republican incumbent Sen. Arlen Specter leads Democratic challenger U.S. Rep. Joseph Hoeffel 53 – 33 percent with 7 percent for Constitution Party Candidate Jim Clymer and 7 percent undecided.
Sen. Kerry leads President Bush 48 – 43 percent in New Jersey, with 2 percent for Nader and 6 percent undecided.
Polls in all three states were conducted October 27 – 31 and include:

1,098 Florida likely voters with a margin of error of +/- 3 percentage points;
1,022 Pennsylvania likely voters with a margin of error of +/- 3.1 percentage points;
984 New Jersey likely voters with a margin of error of +/- 3.1 percentage points.
The Quinnipiac University Poll, directed by Douglas Schwartz, Ph.D., conducts public opinion surveys in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida and the nation as a public service and for research.

That was going to be my exact words. I was there talking about discouraging news till I gave up. Even though I tend to be pessimistic, I cant stand the doom and gloomers.
