I believe you. I've worked in every election since the Reagan administration. Carter made me a fanatic about the American political process. Which is why I find it funny when some newbie voter accuses me of not doing my part.
I'm sure your idea of not doing as much as usual is far more than some others do when they think they're doing too much.
That is one BIG baby shower! You have my sympathies and hopes that it's a success. I don't know if I'd be ready for one that size even without a major election!
Well, the baby's mother is in D.C. and the family is in South Carolina, so I volunteered to be 'halfway.' Unfortunately, EVERYBODY accepted........LOL. I ended up getting the clubhouse because I do NOT want that many people in my house. Eight spending the night is enough!
