I realized late on Saturday that we were low on Courvoisier and Godiva liqueurs! Mrs' TC and mine favored drinks for toasting at VICTORY celebrations!
ABC (always bring cash) Stores open late on Sunday in NC and it wouldn't be possible to stock up on Sunday. Monday we're both working during the day and have GOTV commitments afterwords.
I'm helping open our precinct poll and planting signs around it on Tuesday, then going to work, my only hope is do my alcoholic beverage shopping on Tuesday afternoon.
THIS IS MAKING ME VERY NERVOUS, waiting to the last minute for my booze shopping. WHAT IF the shelves are bare from last minute shopping by other Freepers!
THANK GOD, I stocked up on fine cigars on Saturday.
And I can't bear the thought of America doing that to the troops...
She can't leave yet; she's in full panic mode (and getting her butt kicked) on at least one other thread.......LOL.
How's it's going out there?
Thanks...I *needed* that!
:-)
LOL! Thanks for doing this - these are the times that try men's souls - or words to that effect.
I've done and continue doing my part. At least I'm not an 11th hour activist like you appear to be. I say appear because you cannot walk the vote while you're posting.
I am CONVINCED Bush will WIN and win going away.
Yes, this is our official rubber room.
And I think your fears are warranted. It's unthinkable.
ENJOY!
Just heard Gov. Bush on Rush. He said not to worry that Bush would win but was not sure of the margine.
bump
How dare you belittle my patriotism! :-p

Yippee!! Hope they do it again next week to the Eagles!!!
My polling place is a mere 25 feet away from my condo,
I'm going to get my vote in extremely early and then fret the entire day and night.
Its going to feel like the longest day isn't it ?
Bush is going to win in a landslide is my personal opinion. How would he not?
Did that one ugly poster say she was going to leave FR if Bush won? Praise the Lord!
Cyber and I are doing great. 98 trick or treaters last night. It was hysterical. We decorated so well, then the two guys cater-corner to us decided they were going to decorate even better. Kids came out of their homes screaming bloody murder. LOL! I tried go inside, but then I'm such a chicken.
Bahhhh Humbug!!!
"There's even a Rush is Depressed thread"
Good Grief!..
I believe you. I've worked in every election since the Reagan administration. Carter made me a fanatic about the American political process. Which is why I find it funny when some newbie voter accuses me of not doing my part.
I'm sure your idea of not doing as much as usual is far more than some others do when they think they're doing too much.
That is one BIG baby shower! You have my sympathies and hopes that it's a success. I don't know if I'd be ready for one that size even without a major election!
Just received this e-mail. Any truth to it? Panic? I can't think straight. I think all the polls are taking the FRAUD into consideration. That's the only reason they could have changed so drastically. Let's split the country. I'm ready to croak for our Country.
FACTS ABOUT THE FLU SHOT SHORTAGE
The major pharmaceutical companies in the US provided almost 90% of the
nations flu vaccine at one time. They did this despite a very low profit
margin for the product. Basically, they were doing us a favor. In the late
80's a man from North Carolina who had received the vaccine got the flu.
The strain he caught was one of the strains in that year's vaccine made by
a US company. What did he do? He sued and he won. He was awarded almost $5
million! After that case was appealed and lost, most US pharmaceutical
companies stopped making the vaccine. The liability out weighed the profit
margin. Since UK and Canadian laws prohibit such frivolous law suits UK and
Canadian companies began selling the vaccine in the US.
By the way...the lawyer that represented the man in the flu shot law suit
was a young ambulance chaser by the name of John Edwards.
.......and now you know the rest of the story.
