Paul Harvey: Kerry "Less Than Patriotic" If He Keeps Plan To Himself
Patriot Paradox ^

Posted on 11/01/2004 8:47:09 AM PST by sonsofliberty2000

Paul Harvey Tells It Like It Is

Ouch, Paul Harvey commentary (I decided to transcribe it. These are Paul Harvey's exact words, not mine, but I agree wholeheartedly) Politics

Advantage Out

They can say I have a plan, and yet never define it. Incumbent politicians doing the best they can have exposed their own limitations, but the politicians on the outside wanting in can claim I have a plan for winning in Iraq . They never have to name it. I have a plan for saving social security. I have a plan for full employment. I have a plan for defeating terrorists. Elect me and I'll win the war, win the peace, save the whales and audiences applaud. Anybody with a valid pragmatic plan for resolving any of these challenges, if he persists in keeping it to himself is less than patriotic. If he cared about you he would tell you now; how to resolve the war now. He would tell us now how to accomplish peace and prosperity and security now. So let's listen carefully to what he's not saying.

Listen yourself on Mr. Harvey's site, under the Monday Morning link.

I listened to this on my drive to work this morning. I'm sure the other freeway drivers were wondering why I was yelling, "Hell yeah!"

I did see afew others floating around on this, but I took the time to transcribe it, and Paul Harvey is someone many people of both stripes respect and listen to. Big news I feel.

Can just imagine Kerry's plan.

First he complains that we are not using enough foreign troops in Iraq then he slams President Bush FOR using foreign troops in Afghanistan.

Even Fudd doesn't know what his plan is from one moment to the next. He just waits for the President to make a decision then he opposes it.

but then not share them with the American people is being less than patriotic...."

I don't know if PH said it or not, but logic says that if Kerry were to say that he would reveal his plans even if he lost, then there would be no reason to elect him.

PH has not been shy about his addiction to truth, justice, and the American way. He has an older demographic and he is a valuable antidote to the scare-grandma tactics of the Dems.

I am still researching Kerrey's other stupid statement of the decade: Going to war without a plan to win the peace.

I have not found a single defensive or offensive war in history, where the dumbest administrators of it suggested working on a "plan for the peace" before knowing who the hell the winner is likely to be.

War on a schedule. How quaint!

And as Paul would say:

Now you know the REST of the story!

Glad to see that a newsman a respected as Paul has the guts to call a spade a spade on this issue.

Excellent. Although it's kind of funny, as an 11-year-old kid, I campaigned for Nixon in 1968 because I liked the idea of his "secret plan" to end the war in Vietnam.
