Interestingly enough I posted this same article with the same request for help. LAST WEEK. The response I got was for the Admin Moderator to pull it with the following comment.

"No thanks"

I guess it isn't what you know or who you ask, it is who you know around here that keeps you from being sensored.

I'm currently serving, and I've been to both Iraq wars. That said, the esteemed Senator can kiss my ass.

We're not electing a platoon commander or a fricken glorified boat coxswain, we're electing a CinC.

Most of those so-called "did not serve" Republicans played critical roles in leadership positions during the Cold War, while most of those Democrats mentioned were busy trying to fellate the Soviets.

Sort of amusing, isn't it, to see Democrats denigrating government service whilst purportedly honoring military service?

I notice that Charlie Daniels and Ted Nugent are on the list of Republicans who "did not serve" yet I don't see Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ben Affleck, Sean Penn, etc. on the Democrat "did not serve"-maybe doing a military movie counts?

Kerry failed to serve his 6 year service also. Kerry says it is because he asked the Admiral he was working for to be let out of the Navy 5 months early to run for Congress. This gets no attention. Of course, the reality is Kerry was involuntarily discharged before the end of his term of service and we will all know that for a fact within the next few months. Maybe even the day after the election.

One thing you will notice is that on this list these people entered BEFORE the draft lottery. Repeat: these people entered BEFORE the draft lottery. In other words, when they "joined," military service was essentially mandatory unless you had an exemption. Kerry would have avoided service if he had not been threatened by the draft. How many other Ds would have done the same thing?

As usual, the D who compiles this list was able to skew the results - dishonest, diabolical, deceptive, and derelict.

Guess who else did not serve in the military? Former Illinois State Senator Howard W. Carroll (D-Chicago) who signed this letter. He has been either an elected or appointed politician his entire life. He graduated from Loyola University Law School in 1967 and spent his whole live serving in either the House or Senate of the Illinois state legislature.
