I know someone who went through the JQC and did send it by registered mail. Maybe they were mistaken to send it registered mail but anyway, the JQC said their complaint about Chief Justice Harry Anstead appearing on Greer campaign literature looking like an endorsement which violates the judicial canons was UNFOUNDED.

I can print that Greer mailer on this thread. I'll have to upload it first. I'll get it here tomorrow. Funny that a clear violation of the Judicial Canons occurred and they deemed it UNFOUNDED.

I WILL POST THAT GREER CAMPAIGN MAILER HERE TOMORROW.

To tbritton, it really is immaterial WHO the speaker of the house is----whatever the name, the responsibilities of the position are the same.

I agree that the mail will be forwarded. But I don't think it's immaterial at all in terms of measuring a "news" organization's (in this case, yours) interest in accuracy, and therefore, the likely credibility of their reporting.

And that you, when provided with a correction, respond that "it's immaterial"--that tells me what matters to you...and to me.

Thank you.

I believe there are 3 panel members and someone answers the phone at the JQC. I may be wrong. I'll upload the mailer as a jpeg and I can't make it really huge here but people can save it and make their download larger.

Without Anstead's knowledge, Greer took a quote from Anstead and slapped it on his campaign mailer. It was a paragraph of Anstead praising Greer and the quote is not dated. It looks like an endorsement. Greer turned his entire campaign over to Mary Reppa. He didn't oversee any campaign matters. I heard him say so at a townhall forum. The moderator asked Greer if his billboards were in violation and Greer said something similar to: I dunno. I ordered 'em and sent 'em a check. That sums up his JUDICIAL CAREER. I DUNNO.

Mary Reppa has a web site. Supposed to be a big time campaign consultant. She broke lots of campaign laws imo to get Greer re-elected and he never checked her work. google for her. maybe it's www.maryreppa.com. Anyway, she brags on her site re: who her campaign clients were. Another spokesperson for Greer was Todd Pressman.

Greer paid approx. $1.25 per vote. Govan paid 20 cents per vote.

Govan ran a great campaign and got almost 57,000 votes and we didn't even meet him until after he filed on May 7th.

It was a tough campaign because GOVAN DIDN'T VIOLATE CAMPAIGN LAWS BUT GREER DID. So many campaign laws were violated, judicial canons and regular campaign laws. Public agencies broke laws to endorse Greer. Our supervisor of elections is protecting Greer to this day.

Stupid people voted for GEORGE GREER. We are stuck with him for now.

Interesting that she donated to Greer. Quid pro quo? You allow me to run your campaign and I'll donate to your campaign?

I recall that donations had to be less than a total of $500.00. Am I correct, amdgmary re: Govan v. Greer election.

I got booted off but I'm back. I ckd for my Greer campaign mailer which the JQC rejected as a violation but they missed the point that it was MISLEADING which is a violation.

I Have some information for you from the Judicial Qualifications Commission:

RICHARD C. MCFARLAN, CHAIR and BROOKE S. KENNERLY, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR. (Verified for Year 2004).

Why are you trying to divert the attention from Mr. Greer?

I'm not. I've been fighting this fight for a heck of a long time, and certainly don't have a need to justify myself to you, or anyone else.

But I'm serious about what I'm doing, and about being effective at doing it. And I know that, rather than have my efforts dismissed as hysterical crackpotting, either because they are misdirected, or because my information contains blatant factual inaccuracies, I want my efforts to count.

Why are you trying to divert attention from your inaccuracies instead of simply correcting them?
