CONFESS, FReepers!!
CONFESS your deepest, darkest, most shameful secrets here!
If we spend all day poring over polls and looking for any scrap of election info, we'll go nutz.
We've gotta have some fun. :) And we can't spend ALL day on the thread about German penis size.
CONFESS, I say!
I cannot put into words how much I admire our President. He was called to serve and he has done so with the guidence of the Divine. Now I look into his face and can see the absolute humanity and compassion in this man. When I pray, I like to look at the daily pictures of the President for strength and wisdom in my own endevours. That I can be of service and use as he has. That I can be the kind of person he is.
Through all the hate and anger the left has thrown at our President, he has turned the other cheek. It's a testimony of the depth of his faith. It has always been the hardest thing for me to do.
Last night, I heard a clip of former President Bush (41) giving a stump speech and he was talking about 9/11. He went on to describe how the President handled what happened in the days to follow. He broke down for about a minute describing the Presidents resolve. I was crying, too. I was feeling what he was feeling. Then I realized later he is one of the few people who KNOW - KNOW the weight that was on his sons sholders at that moment. Just how heavy that cross was.
I truly believe there is a spiritual war happening for the soul of this Nation. Yes we are 'polarized'. So is Heaven and Hell.
Today, I'll spend my lunchtime at the Liberty Bell pavilion. Seems to be the place to be for me.
My cousin Ted went missin' in Biloxi in 1985.
I chimed in 2 seconds early on Handels Messiah once. It was being recorded.
I almost voted for Ross Perot.
Mellow and good range.
That was my FAVORITE song when I was little and I still love it!
I'm the only human in my age group (40+) who's never seen the Exorcist. Either one.
I've never seen an episode of the Soprano's either.
I used to go to the midnight shows of RHPS in Greenwich Village.
Placemarker. This is good stuff.
I just swayed a 24 year old roofer that knocked on my door, to vote for George W. Bush and he IS! He was undecided, but did say that kerry was scary. I'm so ashamed of myself. :)
Abba rules!
Faith is the only way to handle something bigger than oneself. I don't know how the faithless live day to day. I guess the survive on their fear and hate.
Jeepers you win! I only have 6 indoor cats now. My daughter took her cat to live with her in Austin this past weekend. Otherwise we would have 7. We wanted to have 10 by now. Just can't find strays everywhere like we used to. All of our cats were strays except the Siamese, which we bought. Newest one is Carl. He was about 4 weeks old and dumped on a BUSY street. Last one before that was Sambo. Found him in an LA alley in 2002. He was 1.5 week old and 6.5 oz. Now he is about 20 lbs. And he plays with Carl. The rest of the cats are pretty old. We thought we should get a new one about once every two years so they don't all die at the same time. When one dies it takes me a LONG time to get over it. They are my babies.
the point is ....Leonardo DeCrappio dies a slow, agonizing death
To hubby: (It was only in emergencies, sweetie!)
Own it, LOVE it...I've already counted to three.
Busted again. I am the Sergeant at Arms.
I went to a Corey Hart concert in the '80s.
I saw Bon Jovi in concert in the '80s.
I once touched Woody Harrelson's hair (when he had it).
I Love Abba, and oh, the BeeGees, too!!
