During World War II, the camp newspaper at the Marine Corps training center at Parris Island, S.C., printed this statement on its masthead: "Let's Be Damned Sure That No Boy's Ghost Will Ever Say, 'If Your Training Program Had Only Done Its Job.'"
Our own LADY X was an instructor there during Korea.
