Is it any coincidence that Mohamed ElBaradei is set to address the U.N. on Monday the day before the U.S. election?
Probably not.
Story Continues Below
For some time, U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan has been seething over the Bush administration's decision to go to war with Iraq despite the fact that Saddam Hussein flouted U.N. resolutions for over a decade.
On Monday, ElBaradei, who heads the U.N.'s nuclear weapons control agency, the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency), will be given the forum of the U.N.'s General Assembly to present his annual report.
No doubt he will reinforce claims that Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction program.
Already, ElBaradei has butted into U.S. politics by having his spokesman speak twice this past week to CNN and the AP about the Al-Qaqaa explosives story.
An administration source tells NewsMax that "it is very likely that ElBaradei will not be able to resist making comments about U.S. responsibility for the missing explosives the day before the election."
Our source also expects ElBaradei to follow his speech with an impromptu press conference and offer some hostile remarks about the Bush administration.
Stay tuned.
Well, they already ambushed Bush...what more can they do?
I wish I knew how to find out just when he presented this 'report' last year and the year before, etc. That could be really telling if it can be shown that this year for 'some' reason he's giving it the day before our election.
Dubya,
On Wednesday morning, after everyone knows you've won-GET THE DAMN US OUT OF THE UN!!!
Won't happen. When will people see what an evil, corrupt organization the UN is?
Oh, the PEOPLE see it already, but the politicians are too damned concerned with "world opinion".
Fvck the UN.
Any Muslim ambushing President Bush will only get him more votes.
It will backfire... The people of the United States will see it for what it really is, and will be insulted that the UN is trying to influence our electoral process. These digusting, socialist one-world whores have shown their true colors. Most people believed Bush when he said that UN risks becoming irrelevant. And that is exactly what they have become. The UN is painting itself into a corner, now that they have directly attacked a sitting United States President during wartime and re-election, Kerry must be lying to them about his chances, or they would think twice. They will ruin all credibility with the American People, if they had any to begin with, for many years to come. I think it is a dumb move by Kerry and the UN.
In fly-over country, the UN has all the credibility of mouse droppings. Who cares, really, except the liberal media.
Could easily backfire and likely will given the eyeball deep corruption that exists at the U.N. and the fact that most Americans can see through such a charade.
It won't matter what the Useless Nations tries to do. Our side dismisses them out of hand since we know they're total losers. The Dims take everything they say as gospel anyway, so nothing changes.
NOTE TO UN: When you're in a hole, stop digging. This time, I think the hole you're in is your grave. When president Bush is reelected, we'll be demanding that you wannabe world dictators get the Hell out of the US and STFU. Yes, the future of the UN looks to be about as long now as Arafat's.
Just think, the supposed brain trust of the planet - at least in their own minds - has consistently been outsmarted by someone they ridicule as being dumb. When America's left wakes up on Nov 3 fully humiliated and powerless, the UN will no longer have a sponsor here. Good riddance to all of them.

The UN sure is bending over backwards to make sure President Bush isn't elected
I smell fear at the UN
You read my mind.
Dont's you mean GET THE US OUT OF THE DAMN UN?
LOL
