"?"
Are you talking about my post #17 post??? If you are, read post #17 and then the original post. Someone was contesting Abbas' being slated for Arafat's replacement. If that's not it, let me know what you are referring to.

Munchkin Arafat will be back. Now they say he may have been poisoned.
I'll give his wife just one more chance.

Tragic that hell-hole exists. A shame that surrounding countries can whine about Israel and the US but can't provide a calming influence, but instead throw gasoline on the situation.

I agree. He won't last long.
The only thing that remembers longer than an elephant is a Jew. I don't mean this in a rascist manner either.

That's because Israel is an historical anomaly that exists outside their humanist/socialist paradigm. Israel, whether in the hearts of Jews longing to return, or in the physical land of Israel, bucks the entire trend towards the New World Order (even when Israeli socialists are in control). Add to that millions of Christians who spiritually back this emphasis upon a jewish return to Eretz Israel (the land of Israel), and you have the recipe for severe consternation in Europe and in the halls of "enlightened power" in the US. Israel, as such, represents a spiritual threat to those who think their man-centered ideas are "inevitable."

Of course you don't. There is no people who exist on earth today who's unbroken memories go as far back into our primordial past then the Jews.

Any people that have 4000 years of history, and a good 3000 of it very well documented, have long memories indeed.

Well said and I agree.
I have never understood why we sent the PLO money.
"If Israel's Prime Minister and our President are worth their salt, the will take a very different approach to the PLO now that they no longer have a Nobel "Peace" Prize winner to hide behind. And you're right...CUT OFF ALL AID TO THE PLO!!!"

Contrary to popular beliefs being a Nobel "Peace" Prize winner is really NOT a real indicator of ones' true intent, intelligence or original genius.
Just look at Jimmy 'Peanut Brain & Dictator Lover', Yassar Arafat as examples of Killers being wrapped up in the disguise of this awards while their true actions are really otherwise.
