A couple of readers also are concerned about Democratic National Committee Chair Terry McAuliffe's comments on ABC that their exit polling shows democrats ahead by “double digits” in Florida and “ahead” in other parts of the country including in Iowa. I will see if anyone can confirm what McAuliffe is saying, but I offer you some relevant previous comments by McAuliffe on the final “Meet the Press” before Election Day 2002:

The Dems can't come out and say that it's all over, except the crying, it would totally demoralize their troops and give Bush a 20 point victory.

They are trying to keep their base energized, but I do think it's all over for them.

I love the title of this post!!! No one in their right mind would ever listen to a Terry McAwful boast. The man has about as much credibility as ole Baghdad Bob. When Terry is saying that there is no Republican threat and that the dems will crush us, just think of that official in Iraq saying the same things while bombs were dropping around him.

Everyone knows that the last two weapons of an athelete who has been out-hustled, out-played, and over-matched are trash talk and complaints about the officiating. Remember this rule on Nov. 3rd when the dems are raising up a stink and pat yourselves on the back.
